Nylon Hose Restraints: Heavy Grade

Nylon Hose Restraints: Heavy Grade

from $26.80

Heavy Grade Nylon Hose Restraints are designed for elevated working pressures and larger diameter hose applications. Simply cinch each loop tight around the hose to provide reliable, tested, hose safety. In the event of a hose connection failure, our HD nylon restraints will hold the hose in check. This prevents extremely dangerous hose whip and contain hazardous spills.

The first length shown is the true end to end without loops. Second length shown is the average working length at the median hose in the restraint’s size range. Consult the chart for working length, size range and pressure rating. Install with no slack.

NOTE: REPLACE IF A BLOWOUT EVENT OCCURS

Replace every 2 years when in outdoor or harsh environments

In some cases rubberized tape should be applied to the hose to prevent cable slippage

NOTE: Restraints will be TAGGED with the size range shown in the chart only. While the cable is approved for other hose sizes, the tag on the product will not show this information because in typical installations, the product fits the hose sizes listed. For custom tags or lengths please contact us.

Double wrap loops on hose diameters up to 1-1/4 inch to achieve maximum pressure rating listed.  On slick-cover and thermoplastic high pressure hose, wrap rubberized or self fusing tape between the restraint loop and the hose coupling to ensure that the restraint cannot slip off the hose.
