Male NPT 'Boss' Hose Coupling
The male NPT Boss hose stem features an interlocking lip for increased shank retention when used with an appropriately matched bolted clamp. This coupling can be joined to a female ground joint set when the female NPT spud adapter (included with the female coupling set) is installed.
- Size listed is hose diameter and the thread size
- Thread is NPT (does not connect to ground joint female without the mating female spud adapter)
1-1/4" sizes and larger are plated iron. Smaller sizes are plated steel.
Shank design shown is plated iron, steel couplings have a different shank pattern.
Pressure rating will vary by size of hose, media, and attachment method. Contact us for pressure ratings
For steam service make sure the hose, coupling, and clamp are matched and approved for steam applications
